Charlie & Linda Reese
Charlie and Linda started shagging in 1989, when they moved from Virginia to the Carolina’s. They are two time
National Shag Dance Champions in the Non Pro Division (1991)and the Senior Division (2002). They have placed in the top three at the Grand National
Championship in the Master’s Division and are two time members of the National Shag Dance Championship Dance Team.
Having served as dancer’s representatives of the Shagger's Preservation Association, Charlie and Linda are charter members,
and were instrumental in the formalization of the Competitive Shagger's Association.
They have judged many different types of dance contests including the National Shag Dance Championship and the Grand National
Championship.
Charlie and Linda have enjoyed teaching private lessons, group lessons, and workshops from Detroit to Florida for the past 18 years.
